World Masters Rowing

World Masters Rowing is a global competitive and recreational program designed for athletes 27 years of age and older. The premier event, the annual World Rowing Masters Regatta, attracts thousands of participants from around the world to compete in a non-progression, festival-style event over a 1000-meter distance

The Head of the Charles Regatta (HOCR) is the world's largest three-day rowing event. Held annually on the third weekend of October on the Charles River in Boston/Cambridge, Massachusetts, it attracts over 11,000 athletes and 400,000 spectators who gather to watch more than 70 different race categories.
